FA Thailand Warmly greets FIFA's Medical Director at BASEM

The Football Association of Thailand warmly greeted of FIFA's Medical Director, Dr. Andrew Massey, during his visit to Bangkok Hospital's Sports Medicine and Exercise Institute. Dr. Gp. Capt. Paisal Chantarapitak, Chairman of the Medical Department of the Football Association of Thailand, highlighted BASEM's recognition as FIFA's Medical Center of Excellence (FMCE) since 2012, ensuring comprehensive care for footballers in the region. Dr. Chantarapitak emphasized the importance of discussions regarding support for women's football and the enhancement of sports medicine practices.

 He stated, "The Bangkok Sports Medicine and Exercise Institute (BASEM) at Bangkok Hospital is the medical center of excellence for the Fédération Internationale De Football Association (FIFA), one of the leaders in sports injury care with international standards." Dr. Chantarapitak detailed BASEM's services, ranging from diagnostics to rehabilitation, tailored for athletes and individuals of all ages and genders, ensuring fitness, injury prevention, and swift recovery. 

Cdr. Dr. Pornthep Mamanee highlighted that the Bangkok Sports Medicine and Exercise Institute (BASEM) at Bangkok Hospital is a premier medical center endorsed by the International Football Federation. It offers comprehensive care for sports injuries, serving individuals of all ages and genders who are passionate about sports and fitness. The institute boasts a skilled team of medical professionals and sports medicine specialists who provide a wide range of services, including fitness testing, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and advanced surgical techniques. Additionally, BASEM offers specialized programs for athletes, as well as for the general public, seniors, and individuals with chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease.
