President of the Football Association of Thailand "Madame Pang" attends the AFC Ordinary Congress 2024

On 16 May 2024, at 10 AM, the Football Association of Thailand hosted an AFC Ordinary Congress at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park Hotel.

The meeting was led by the Asian Football Confederation President Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, along with representatives from 47 member associations. Thai Football Association representatives attending the conference are the President of the Football Association of Thailand Madame Pang, Council Committee Pol. Lt.Col.ML Kitibodee Pravitra, and General Secretary Patit Suphaphongs.

An essential agenda was the election of two new Executive committee members: Ms. Mijgona Mahmadalieva from Tajikistan and Mr. Chung Mong Gyu from the Republic of Korea.

Additionally, the AFC's new competition calendar has been revealed along with the logo of the rebranded Asia's top club tournament starting from the 2024/25 season, consisting of;

- AFC Champions League Elite (ACLE), 24 participant teams
- AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2), 32 participant teams
- AFC Challenge League (ACGL), 20 participant teams
- AFC Women's Champions League, 12 participant teams
